A 'visual biography' of 50 years of Richard Avedon's work produced in conjunction with his 1994 exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Inscribed by Avedon (1923 - 2004) in marker with his typically bold signature "For David / Avedon 1994" across the first two-page spread that opens the book.
